October 1999, Tunis, Tunisia.

You have just spent a week in a Tunis military hospital after suffering a heart attack and respiratory problems and you'll probably be hanging around here much longer. Doctors have diagnosed you with new illnesses - pneumonia, bronchitis and gangrene, in addition to your old illnesses. So unless if you want to be buried here in Tunisia, perhaps you would want to negotiate for a return to Milan.

But then again, should you return, you'll have to end up in court to face your charges and you probably will die in Milan but in jail. Some sympathetic Italians have suggested that you be allowed back into Italy from your self-imposed exile (or retirement vacation?) as a humanitarian gesture. But of course, there are other Italians such as Di Pietro (who happens to be a senator now, for your information) who insists that should you return, you will be tried in court. That man never gives up, does he?
